life lines
|
From now on my artworks are accessable to everyone, titled 'Lifelines'. Lifelines to me are the drawn and painted lines that I have created. They are the searching lines on paper that connect me to the external outline of a posing model. They are the brush strokes that are hidden in the colour planes of a painting. Lifelines are also ideas: the lines that uncover the meaning of a poem, quote or even of this text. Lifelines are visible and invisible threads that hold me together at the right place, that make me feel connected to what I am doing. My lifelines keep me firmly fixed to my mountain... Paul Klee gave it these simple words: 'A line is a dot that went for a walk' (Paul Klee) 'It''s all about to stand, despite all possibilities to fall' (Paul Klee) go to page Home◄ go to page Drawing► |
